
The Cleveland Music School Settlements Music Therapy Program has long been recognized nationally for its excellence in training and services. Since 1971, this community-based program has provided interns access to a wide range of client populations under the supervision of an exceptional and experienced staff. State of the art equipment, a variety of musical instruments and a comprehensive music and printed text library add to the internship experience. The Cleveland Music School Settlement's Music Therapy Clinical Training Program is approved by the American Music Therapy
Association.
One music therapy internship position is available at the Settlement between the months of September and June. The position is 10 months (27 hours per week). Qualified applicants will have completed an undergraduate degree in music therapy at a school approved by the American Music Therapy Association. Applicants must send a resumé and letters of reference. A personal interview and audition is required. Applications are accepted up to 12 months in advance of the start date.
