Suzuki Instruction
$504 - 626/18 weeks
The Suzuki method is based on the premise that children can learn to play an instrument the same way that they learn to speakby listening, imitation and repetition. As the child progresses, note reading and notation are introduced. Because Suzuki training begins with very young children, preferably age 4, parental involvement is a vital for success. CMSS's Suzuki violin, cello, bass, and piano program includes weekly private lessons. Once students become comfortable with their instrument, they are placed into appropriate group and theory classes in addition to private instruction. Monthly workshops are especially beneficial to parents of beginning students. Call the Suzuki Office at (216) 421-5806 ext. 123 for new student and parent orientation information.
