Dennis Lang - Piano & Voice

Piano and Vocal
Dennis Lang, tenor, holds degrees in piano and voice, a Bachelor and Master of Fine and Professional Arts, respectively. His piano studies were with pianost, Thesmacher, Dr. Mary Schiller, and W. Ray Evans Harrell in NYC, and has coached with Robert Page, Ohyllis Curtain, Neil Rosenchein, Samuel Sanders, Madeline Milhaud, and Dalton Baldwin. Mr. Lang served on the fcaulty of the Walsh College. He has performed as soloist with the Bronx Choral Society, The Group Opera of New York, Majic Circle Opera Repertory Ensemble, The Robert DeCormiere Singers, Coryton Chamber Ensemble, the Tuscarawas Philharmonic, and Robert Page Cleveland Singers, and participated in the PBS production of A Carnegie Hall Christmas Gala, (1991). Robert Shaw selected Mr. Land as soloist at the Festival of St. Cere (France). Dennis has performed the role of Daniel in Milhaud's Miracles of Faith at Fairmount Temple and at Blossom as soloist with the Cleveland Orchestra under the baton of Pierre Boulez in Schumann's Scenes from Faust. Mr. Lang has appeared inrecital, oratorio and musical theater, and has coached vocal and instrumental ensembles. Mr. Lang has been recently appointed to the faculty of the Cleveland Music School Settlement. The following students were previous students of Dennis Lang; Dee Hoty, Karen Ziemba (Sucessful Broadway Productions) and Christine Brandes.
