The Suzuki method is based on the premise that children can learn to play an instrument in the same way that they learn to speak – by listening, imitation and repetition. Because Suzuki training begins with very young children, parental involvement is vital for success. The Music Settlement’s Suzuki violin, viola, cello, string bass and piano program includes weekly private lessons.
Summers @ The Music Settlement provide a wealth of opportunities and experiences for your child as well as instilling a lifelong appreciation of music.
Besides offering private instruction and music therapy sessions during the summer, The Music Settlement has several arts-based camps for children ages 6 through 18.
With an outstanding faculty of professional musicians, including members of The Cleveland Orchestra and numerous small area ensembles, The Music Settlement is poised to elevate your experience regardless of ability level.
